Schauberger (1885-1958) was a man of nature and his close relationship to the forests he loved led him to observe the intriguing nature of water. He studied its movement and other phenomena and learned that water held great life giving properties not acknowledged by the scientific community.

Masaru Emoto (1943-present)is presently well known for his experiments with glasses of water that he exposed to emotions, prayer, pictures and written words. The water was then frozen and the crystaline structure was studied and photographed.

His amazing photos show how the crystal structure of the water varied remarkably with each different exposure. For example, a positive exposure like taping the word "love" to a glass of water led to beautiful, symmetrical crystals and a negative exposure like the word "hate" created chaotic and unbalanced crystals.

Mr. Emoto believes the water crystals show "true nature" and are an important look into the mysteries of water.

Water was laid on this earth to bring forth life, and we are tainting it and making it that which takes life away.

Dead Tainted Water

When my daughter was a baby, I learned about the chemicals put in municipal water supplies, such as chlorine and fluoride and the imbalances this creates in our bodies.

According to the Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products, fluoride is more poisonous than lead, and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic. Fluoride is used as rat poison.

In the human body, it destroys enzymes. When enzymes are damaged it affects the immune system, digestive system, respiratory system, blood circulation, kidney function, liver function, brain function and thyroid function.

If you start investigating the harms of fluoride, you’ll quickly learn that it does not have the benefits it is touted to have but quite the opposite.

Chlorine in our drinking water is a bad story too.

It is a labeled a pesticide by the EPA. We know chlorine kills living organisms, like when you put fish in chlorinated water. If chlorine kills animals, what is it doing to you?

In studies, chlorine has shown to be carcinogenic. Increased rates of rectal and bladder cancer are linked to long term drinking of chlorinated water. Chlorine is also a hormone disruptor, harms the thyroid, upsets the flora of the digestive system and is linked to miscarriages.

Since our skin is the largest organ of our body, and because it is very absorbent, it is important not to allow these chemicals on our skin either.

The earliest recorded method of water filtration dates back to 2000 B.C. where hieroglyphics depict methods of boiling water, placing hot metal instruments in water and filtering water through charcoal and sand. In an effort to achieve drinking water purity, chlorine disinfection and sand filtering became prominent methods of municipal water treatment throughout Europe, and then, the US. These primitive methods of disinfecting and filtering water to achieve purity have been studied and evaluated with the use of technology. Chlorine, despite its history of ridding water of contaminants, is a poison. It has since been found to exhibit side effects that aggravate and induce respiratory complications, such as asthma. The poisonous chemical vaporizes at a faster rate than water, making it dangerously harmful when inhaled, especially during showering. Fluoride has since been added as an additional chemical disinfecting agent, but also has side effects of dental damage and other health complications in young children. Lead and other chemical contaminants and by-products further compromise drinking water during the piping and delivery of treated water.

Business and industry have been instrumental in the disposal of waste materials into our fresh water supply sources. The Britannica defines the word density as “Mass of unit volume of a material substance expressed as kilogram per cubic meter in S.I. units”. Water is one of the very few substances, which are actually denser in the liquid state than in the solid form. This large volume of water, in ice form results in the phenomenon ice floating on the surface of water.
When ice melts some of the Hydrogen Bonds are broken and molecules pack more closely together so that water has a higher density. This breaking down process is not complete until a temperature of 4 Degree Celsius is reached at which water has the maximum density. On this basis, anomalous behaviour of water can be explained, that is, water when heated from 0 to 4 Degree Celsius contracts and when cooled from 4 to 0 Degrees Celsius, water expands (contrary to the behaviour of other liquids).
The water molecule is bonded by Covalent Bonds. However the molecules in water have Hydrogen Bonding as Inter Molecular forces of Attraction, which are the result of Ionic Character, and in turn depend upon Electro-negativity. Thus Electrostatic forces of Attraction also act on these molecules and hence these molecules are said to be ‘Polar Molecules’. The presence of Hydrogen Bonding greatly affects the general properties of water. It is due to Hydrogen Bonding that the physical properties of water such as Viscosity (internal resistence to the flow of the liquid) and Surface Tension exist. Stronger the Hydrogen Bonding, higher would be the viscosity and surface tension. The high boiling point of water as compared to other similar liquids is also due to Hydrogen Bonding.

There is a long history of the promotion of magnets to improve the quality and health benefits of water. Researchers found that when a permanent medical magnet is kept in contact with water, the water gets magnetically charged and acquires magnetic properties. The heat without water in the water heater can cause damage to the gas systems. You can also use lye to dissolve sediment. Its very flammable and volatile. A plumber should use this chemical only.

Maintenance Tip #3 Controlling sediment

Sediment can be kept under control if you use softened water. Salt softened water only reduces sediment; it doesn't get rid of the problem and also causes another problem. Anode rods' life expectancy is reduced 50% to 65%. Sediment grows rapidly at 140 degrees. Legionnaires' Disease can grow at temperatures of 115 degrees or less. To keep both of these problems at bay, its best to set your water heater at 130 degrees. Legionnaires' Disease is actually caused by inhaling water vapor rather than drinking infected water. Still, in hospitals the plumbing should be regularly filled with 170 degree water to kill all remaining bacteria.
The only way to check what temperature the water actually is, is to fill a cup of hot water and put a meat thermometer in the cup. Be sure to give the water heater a chance to recover between adjustments on the dial. An hour should do. Some gas water heaters can adjust the size of the flame produced. High pressure causes more sediment build-up.

Now use the screw driver to pry up the broken nipple. Use a hacksaw blade only to cut the opening slot to the threads if the screwdriver doesn't do the trick. Clean the threads with a pipe tap. Now wrap the new nipple with teflon tap on the threads and install it.

To check the electric heating elements on an electric water heater, locate the two ports in the front of the water heater. Sometimes there's only one port, but nonetheless, you need to remove them. Remove the element, but only if you've drained the water heater and turned the power off first. Replace the gasket if the rubber has turned hard. Wrap the element with teflon tape if it has threads. Put the tape on the threads and wrap it a couple of times. Hard scale can build-up directly on an electric element. This is rare but it can happen. Scale usually just sloughs off elements and falls to the bottom of the water heater. If enough scale (also known as sediment) falls to the bottom of the water heater, it could bury the lower element. There are two types of heating elements, the high-watt density element and the low-watt density element. The high-watt sloughs sediment off more easily but the total amount of sediment is greater due to the higher temperatures. A low-watt creates lower overall sediment because it is not as hot, but it still heats up the water just as well because it has double the surface area. It tends to get flakes of scale directly on itself more easily though. In most instances, the low-watt density element will cause fewer problems. Elements may be cleaned. Use a toothbrush and vinegar to gently clean the sediment off of them. If your anode rods have become heavily deteriorated, then this can affect your elements. Corrosive actions between the copper on the sheath of the element and the steel of the water heater's tank can sprout slow leaks and destroy the elements. If your elements are burning out frequently after replacement, the anode could be to blame.

Can water be magnetised?

Researchers found that when a permanent medical magnet is kept in contact with water, the water gets magnetically charged and acquires magnetic properties. Such magnetically treated water affects the human body when taken internally and regularly for a considerable period of time (Lam, 2001). Also, when water is magnetically treated, more hydroxyl (OH-) ions are created to form alkaline molecules, and reduce acidity. Normal water has a pH level of about 7, whereas magnetized water tends to be more alkaline.

Research has shown that it is possible to regenerate water to its original healthy state by magnetizing it. It is now clear that water has a very definite structure. A water molecule consists of two hydrogen atoms and an oxygen atom. Some very exciting research done in Hungary has shown that these clusters actually have a memory and can remember and carry an imprint of the magnetic energy they have been exposed to either simply from the earth’s magnetic field or through flowing over paramagnetic rock. The health benefits of drinking magnetic water.

Magnetized water is claimed to be energy-building, activating, cleansing and detoxifying. There are reports of people resolving bladder problems, recovering quickly from a stroke, alleviating arthritis pain and reducing blood pressure by drinking magnetized water. It is perhaps reasonable to assume that if scientific studies on animals have proven that magnetized water has health benefits, then it should also be beneficial to humans. - Magnetic water provides positive effect on the autonomic nervous system
- Magnetized water has been reported to help regulate the heart function and clear clogged arteries
- Magnetic water has been beneficial for kidney ailments, gout, obesity and premature aging
- Magnetic water may help relieve pain
- Magnetic water infuses energy into the body, controls bacteria, and stimulates brain function.

Whether these claims are true or false remains to be tested by science. It will be decades before the science of magnetized water is fully understood. Those in mainstream medicine may discount magnetized water as "quackery". That in the forefront of magnetic research paints a different story. If one understands and accepts that each of our cells possesses a small magnetic field, as many research studies are now supporting, the logical conclusion that magnetic water has the ability to affect our cells must be taken seriously.

The most efficient way to magnetise drinking water.

Large Container Water Gardening

To start a water garden there are a few things that are essential. You will need a container that will hold enough water to sustain your plants and maybe some fish and at least six hours of sun each day.

Not so long ago water gardening was restricted to ponds or large bodies of water. Even if you live in an apartment you are able to have and enjoy a water garden. Water gardening is different from your normal gardens. They have different needs but as long as you cater to these needs you will be surprised at some of the places you can have a water garden.

To start a water garden you will need a large container that will hold 15 to 20 gallons of water. You must also know how deep each plant needs to sit in the water. Find out from your local nursery center how deep each plant needs to be placed in your container. You can also find this information online.

Be very careful of filling your container with tap water. Many communities use chemicals in the water system to make it potable. If there is high chlorine count in the water you use, it will probably kill your plants. If you are going to use tap water, fill the container two days before you place any plants in it so that the chlorine can burn off.

There are three basic kinds of plants for water gardening. There are plants that only grow above the water line while others grow beneath the surface of the water. And then there plants that are called "floaters" because they seem to float on the surface. You will need to know the care and needs of the plants before you will know which varieties to plant. It will also depend on the size of your container.

Consider some fish or snails for your water garden. A small container will accommodate guppies because they will tolerate various temperatures. The benefit of guppies is that they eat mosquitoes who will be tempted by the water. If you are using a large container buy one or two goldfish. Place some snails in your container garden to eat the decaying plant matter and fish waste. They are kind of like the vacuum cleaner of the water garden.

The snails will not be sufficient to keep your garden clean and fresh. In order to have a successful water garden you must have some kind of fresh water supply. You must plan on how often and how easily the water garden can be cleaned and stocked with fresh water.

Buy a small submersible pump to keep the water moving and avoid stagnation. Place the pump in a nylon stocking before putting it in the water garden. The nylon will keep small particles from entering the pump and befouling it. This is a crucial step. If you have to fish out the pump to clean it out, it will foul the water. You may want to buy a sprouting ornament and place it on the rime of the container. Attach it to the pump with rubber tubing. This will add depth and texture to your water garden.

Millions of us don't feel as good as we should because we don't drink the eight or more glasses of water we need daily. Water is an often overlooked nutrient, one that's involved in practically every bodily process.

I know that if I'm dehydrated, I feel really tired. But when I drink water regularly, I have more energy. That's because water assists in the loading and storage of energy-giving glycogen in the muscles. It's also a solvent and carrier for nutrients. It helps in digestion, circulation, and joint lubrication and even helps decrease the risk of some cancers. It also flushes toxins and metabolic wastes from your system. The more toxins and wastes in your body, the less capable it is of burning fat and losing weight.

There's a guy I've known for a long time who is 6 feet 3 inches tall, big-boned, and age 50-plus. He's also the most overweight person I've ever met. He once weighed around 210, but now he tips the scale at 500 pounds. He also has hyperinsulinemia -- meaning he has high levels of insulin in his blood -- which makes him prone to heart disease and diabetes and keeps him heavy, since insulin is a fat-storage hormone. His diet basically consists of meat and potatoes and diet soda by the gallon, and he gets no exercise. But in all the years I've known him, he has refused to drink water. Once I asked him why. It turns out that he hates the taste of plain water, and he says he'd have to be "desperate" to drink it.

Since metabolism is a chemical process requiring adequate water, and he doesn't drink it, every system in his body has become sluggish. He has no energy. His thinking is muddled. His body can't burn fat effectively. While it's true that many factors figure into these problems, his refusal to drink water is certainly a bad influence on his metabolism.

Keeping your body well hydrated is important for preventing dizziness, cramps, and exhaustion during exercise, too. It's generally a good idea to drink 1 to 2 cups of water 2 hours before you exercise, then drink more during your workout. When I work out, I drink a few ounces of water for every 10 minutes that I exercise. After your workout, you should replace the water you've lost through perspiration -- about 2 cups of water for each pound of lost body weight. If you can make the commitment to start drinking more water, you'll definitely notice a change in the way you feel and in your energy, and you'll feel the mental kick that sufficient water gives.

Try this with me: In the morning, instead of your usual cup of coffee or tea or can of cola, drink a glass of cold water. Supposedly, drinking cold water gives a little boost to your metabolism since your body burns calories to warm up the water. Then take a minute to notice how rejuvenated you feel.

I prefer to drink bottled water, mainly because it's easy to take with me, and I really don't like the taste of tap water. Bottled water fits my needs and my lifestyle. I am very picky when it comes to water; let's just say I'm spoiled.

There are different types of bottled water, so it helps to read labels. Spring water, for instance, comes from an underground formation from which water naturally flows to the Earth's surface. Purified water has been processed to remove minerals and contaminants; distilled water is one example. Some purified water is actually purified tap water, and the label must state that it comes from a municipal water supply.

Mineral water contains naturally occurring minerals and trace elements. In other words, these are in the water at its source and can't be added later. Sparkling bottled water, which I often enjoy with a meal, has a bit of a fizz caused by the carbon dioxide it contains. Artesian water is taken from an aboveground well that taps an aquifer, a water-bearing layer of rock or sand. Well water comes from a hole bored, drilled, or otherwise constructed in the ground to tap the water aquifer. All bottled water is strictly regulated at the federal level by the FDA and at the state level by state agencies.

Tap water can be contaminated with lead found in household plumbing materials, nitrate from fertilizers, disease-causing microbes that pass undetected through filtering systems, and other pollutants. In fact, I've read that there are 85 possible contaminants that can get into drinking water, according to the EPA. Fortunately, though, because of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act, municipal water systems serving 25 people or more are constantly tested for harmful substances. If there is a problem with your water supply, you'll be warned through the media or other outlets.

On the whole, Americans have good, clean drinking water. You can get information about your community's water supply by logging on to www.epa.gov and following the proper links. Filtering out contaminants from tap water with a home water filter is another good option for making sure your drinking water is safe.

Following Through

Drink a glass of water upon rising in the morning, one to two more before lunch, and more before dinner and during exercise. We need at least eight 1-cup servings, or 64 ounces, of water a day.

Sip water in your car on the way home from work.

The next time you pick up lunch at the local deli, reach for bottled water rather than a soda.

Buy or use 16- or 24-ounce bottles rather than 8-ounce ones. Then you can track how many bottles you need each day.

If you don't like the taste of plain water, try adding some fresh lemon or lime, cucumber slices, or fresh mint for a refreshing new taste.

Be sure to drink plenty of water when traveling by air, since airplane cabins are notoriously dry, and you can become dehydrated.

Water Skiing

Have you ever tried water skiing? It's like flying, only cooler. As you glide across the surface at top speed, cool water splashes over and around you. It's a fun and exciting sport that people of all ages can take part in. If you're strong enough to hold yourself up, you're strong enough to water ski.

To be really good at water skiing does take a little practice; but even more important, it takes the right equipment.

Four basic types of water skis are available on the market:

* Combination: The most common types of water skis sold today are combination skis. The skis have a wider tip, so they're the best style to learn on and are preferred by beginners and advance skiers alike.

* Slalom skis: Used by skiers who prefer to use just one ski. By skiing on one ski, the athlete is able to make sharp turns and reach faster speeds. Recreational slalom skis have a wider tail and a flatter bottom to make it easier to get up and ride straight, while advanced skis have a more tapered tail with beveled edges and a tunnel bottom. These are more difficult to ski on, but will take the skier on a much faster ride.

* Trick skis: Extreme athletes use trick skis to pull off the most outrageous stunts. Trick skis are for spinning, jumping and busting extreme moves in (or over) the water. These are shorter and wider than other style of water skis, and require much more skill. There are no fins on the bottoms of trick skis, so it's easier to slide and turn, but harder to make controlled moves while water skiing.

* Jump skis look like old-fashioned skis, but are made from a hi-tech composite material to make them stronger. As the name suggests, jump skis are used for jumping off of ramps.

The other essential piece of water skiing equipment is a rope. This is what connects you to the boat. Make sure that you have a proper rope with an appropriate handle. Water ski ropes have a flexible elastic quality, so they're able to change speeds and move with the skier. In normal conditions, polypropylene ropes will stretch two to three percent of their standard length of seventy inches.

The comfort of the rope handle is very important, and every water skier has his or her personal preference. Recreational water ski handles usually have a plastic or rubber grip. The plastic molded handles are strong and durable, and will float when dropped in the water. High-performance handles are generally comprised of an aluminum bar covered with a comfortable rubber grip. The construction is lighter, but more comfortable and durable than a molded plastic handle. Higher performance handles are hollow, so they sink when dropped in the water.

It's suggested that you wear goggles while water skiing, especially if you need to wear your eyeglasses. Protective goggles will stop water and debris going into your eyes, and will prevent your glasses from flying off and sinking if you fall into the water.

Water skiing is great exercise and a super fun way to enjoy a sunny day with friends. Strap on a lifejacket, grab some skis and make the most of your day on the water.

Dreams about Water

Having water in your dreams is a very common occurrence. Whether you are dreaming of an ocean, a pond, or even a glass of water, it seems everyone dreams of water at some point in their lives. And in your dreams, water alludes to the most basic parts of ourselves - emotion. Water most always represents our waking emotion. Think about the dreams of water you have had...was the water crashing ocean waves? Then chances are your waking emotions were pretty rocky and heavy as well. Was the water dark, murky, and stagnant? Then you may well have been depressed or worried before you went to sleep.

The condition of, and placement of the water in your dream is the reflection of your waking mood. Cloudy swirling water may mean confusion, and clear crisp clean water may mean that you were very happy about something.

The only cases where water will not reflect upon the dreamers mood is when the water is part of a larger dream symbol, such as a hurricane, or a whirlpool. Dreaming of a hurricane may indicate a level or chaos in your life, or even on the more obvious level - that you are frightened of situations you cannot control. Dreaming of a whirlpool means that you are afraid that you will be overcome by a person or situation in your life.

What happens when there’s a lack of water? The absence of water in a dream probably isn’t significant unless the dream makes it so. For instance, are you thirsty or hot? Are you in a desert? In this case, the lack of water means exactly that… a lack of something. It could point to real neglect, or a misunderstood slight. Most likely, it references some need in your life.

There are other clues to look for and consider in a water dream. Is there anything in the water with you? For instance, if you’re caught in flood water, is it muddy? If so, your problem may be your inability to see through the muddy water to the real issue. Perhaps you’re not being honest with yourself. Are you clinging to something for ballast? If so, what is it? Is it still raining - is the storm over? All important clues as to where you are in the current situation.

Dreaming of fish in water however, is a different dream symbol. Dreaming of fish almost always represents money matters. So if you are dreaming of a tank or pond of bright healthy fish it may mean that you will be getting a large amount of money soon, or that financial matters are currently going very well for you. On the other hand, if the pond or tank water is dirty or mucky, and the fish are dead or dying, this means you are very afraid of your money situation.

Water, much like the emotion it represents, can be an ever changing element, and while the dream may indicate those things which are at the top of your subconscious, you may not immediately realize what the dream represents. Keep an eye out for your emotions, and what that particular dream may have meant to you!

"Water Witching." The term sounds so delightful, mystical, and wonderful, doesn't it? Water witching is the art of using a magical tool, such as a pendulum or dowsing rods, or psychic abilities to find underground sources of water. People, including some plumbers, have been practicing water witching and dowsing for centuries.

Dowsing is actually a specific form of divination, which is the art of accessing information not available to the five senses. Other forms of divination include the tarot, water bowls, scrying in chalices, and Rune stones.

According to Polly Cady, a master dowser of 14 years, one of the easiest ways to get started with water witching or dowsing is to start with a pendulum. You can make a pendulum from almost any lightweight object suspended on a chain, string or thread. Lightweight objects you can use include paper clips, small rocks, earrings, hairpins, pendants, small medallions, crystals and talismans. If you choose to use a crystal, use an amethyst because other kinds of crystals become too easily contaminated.
